Sensory analysis as a business tool

Sensory analysis is an effective tool for the quality development of the food industry!
We did it! We held a series of sensory analysis workshops for Ukrainian food industry professionals. Results.
1. Under the auspices of Favorite Food & Drinks and DNI PRO, group (30-31 January, Kyiv) and corporate (3-4 February, Zhashkiv) two-day intensive workshops on sensory analysis as a tool for controlling and improving food quality were held. The workshop participants, together with leading experts, immersed themselves in the world of sensory analysis, mastered practical methods of food quality assessment and management. They not only improved their professional skills but also received a boost of drive and inspiration.
2. A new level of specialist training
The programme covered testing, training, practical use of sensory tools and marketing aspects of food launch and promotion. The participants not only developed their tasting skills, but also learnt how the results of sensory analysis can increase the competitiveness of products on the market.
"The trainers have developed a truly unique programme that includes topics aimed at improving the skills of all team members involved in the creation, launch and development of food products on the market, namely technologists, quality engineers, R&D, and marketers," says Elena Sinitsina, the workshop's organising trainer. All participants were provided with working materials for further use in their professional activities.
The intensive workshops were attended by companies from Kyiv, Dnipro, Zhashkiv, Kharkiv and Rivne - manufacturers and specialists who are true advocates of quality and taste and who want to take their products to the next level.
The workshop trainers are recognised experts in the field of food science and marketing:
🔸 Oksana Tkachenko - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Wine Technology and Sensory Analysis at ONTU, FAO project expert.
🔸 Nataliia Kameneva is a Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor at ONTU, an expert in viticulture and sensory analysis.
🔸 Olena Sinitsyna is a PhD in Economics, an expert in food retail, marketing and food promotion, and the founder of Favorite Food & Drinks.
