When quality and taste speak for themselves, it is important to be heard.
The professional tasting competition Favorite Food&Drinks is a business tool for producers that allows them not only to get expert opinion, make themselves known, but also to get closer to supermarket shelves or restaurant menus.
Nadiia Pidlisna, Director of the Quality Department at ECO LLC, talks about the importance of the competition:
"The Favourite Food&Drinks competition is extremely important nowadays. To be honest, I don't even remember if there are any other similar competitions in Ukraine.Firstly, for us, the members of the tasting panel, it is a great opportunity to improve our skills, broaden our taste experience and stay up to date with new trends in the food industry. And for producers, especially now that consumers are becoming more demanding, this competition opens up the opportunity to present their products, get expert opinion and, importantly, shorten the way to supermarket shelves or restaurant menus.
This is a truly mutually beneficial competition - both for us, the tasters, and for those who present their samples. What particularly impresses me is that Favorite Food & Drinks is fair, without any preliminary agreements. We don't really know who the producers are, whose products are in front of us. This makes it possible to evaluate as objectively as possible, relying solely on taste, quality and presentation."
