For the first time, a representative of the State Logistics Operator (SLO), a state agency that meets the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will take part in a blind food assessment.
The independent tasting panel included a highly professional and responsible Olga Gulenko, a leading specialist in commodity market research, DOT.
DOT supplies food to the military on the basis of integrity and human centricity, and we supply food, clothing and fuel and lubricants.
"We are convinced that supplying the army should not only be interesting to the market, but also honourable. Our task is to build an appropriate system of relations with suppliers, increasing the value of each hryvnia invested by the state budget.
Our ambitious goal is to become a driver of the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's logistics system in line with NATO standards," the DOT said.
"We supply food to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so we are interested in a wide range of food and beverages. We choose almost all suppliers through blind tastings, which is one of the priority components of the selection of food suppliers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," emphasises Olga.
The suppliers, tasters and the organising committee of Favorite Food & Drinks, sharing the principles of integrity and human centricity, will make every effort to contribute to the saturation of the market and special contingents with safe and tasty food products.
