On 1 April, Kyiv hosted the Award Ceremony of the seventh independent professional tasting competition Favorite Food & Drinks. The event brought together food retail leaders: representatives of national and regional retail chains, manufacturers and industry experts.
Scale and significance of the event
The Favorite Food & Drinks tasting competition has already become a landmark event for the Ukrainian food market. Its goal is to determine the best products by organoleptic characteristics "blindly" and to promote quality food products. Consumers and business partners can trust the awards of Favorite Food & Drinks, as they are awarded exclusively based on the results of an independent assessment.

In 2025, the tasting panel was a record number of experts: 30 representatives of leading retail chains, marketplaces, and manufacturing companies, including NOVUS, Epicentr K, ROZETKA, ATB-MARKET, Auchan Ukraine, KLO, Fozzy Group, Carlsberg Ukraine, and many others, which underlines the importance of the competition for the market. For the first time, the jury included: Anatolii Statsenko, Chief Technologist, Laska; Marina Selivanova, Leading Process Engineer, DOLER UKRAINE; Anastasiia Kovbasa, Leading Specialist, External Audit Division, Quality Department, FOZZY GROUP; Ruslan Strukov, Chief Technologist, FORA.
